However, this is simply not true. Pornography has some of the same effects on a person's brain as drugs do. Pornography produces a neurochemical response in the brain, leaving a person craving for more. Ponrographic images damage the frontal lobe over time which controls judgment, emotional stability, and self-control. There are ways to receive help if a person does find themself addicted to pornography. They can enroll in a support group, talk with a therapist, and enable safeguards on their computer to prevent themselves from caving into the temptation of pornography.
