A former prosecutor with the Department of Justice is bothered that a federal judge has dismissed obscenity charges against a major pornography producer. (See earlier story)
Pat Trueman, an attorney and former chief of the U.S. Justice Department's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, is disappointed that the judge tossed the charges before the jury could decide whether the material was obscene.
